Rule for Fixed Deposits
Deposit will be accepted for a minimum amount of ₹1,000.
If a Fixed Deposit is withdrawn before three months from the date of deposit, no interest will be paid for the period it was kept with the Society.
If withdrawn after three months, interest will be paid at 1% p.a. less than the applicable agreed rate for the completed tenure in months.
If a fixed deposit remains overdue for more than 24 months, interest applicable to savings account will be paid.
The Managing Committee has the right to revise the deposit rate structure as and when warranted.
